Are you a passionate STEM educator who loves working with elementary students? Our school seeks a dedicated 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in August 2025!

In this role, you will engage students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning that fosters curiosity and critical thinking in math and science. You will work closely with a grade level partner teacher who specializes in Language Arts and Social Studies, helping your students develop independence while remaining in a supportive elementary setting.

• Teach math and science through engaging, real-world problem-solving activities.
• Work closely with a teaching partner to create a cohesive and well-rounded learning experience.
• Provide students with an introduction to switching classrooms and learning from multiple teachers while maintaining the nurturing environment of elementary school.
• Serve as an advisor to a group of students, supporting their academic and personal growth.
• Use innovative teaching strategies, including project-based learning and technology integration, to inspire young learners.
• Build meaningful relationships with students and foster a supportive, engaging classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related STEM field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience teaching upper elementary students.
• A passion for STEM education and the ability to make math and science engaging and accessible.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a partner teacher and the broader school community.
• A student-centered mindset, with a focus on engagement, growth, and relationship-building.
• Qualified candidates will possess a passion for inclusion and community efforts.
