Job Description

Our client, a leading player in the foodservice and distribution industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to multitask efficiently, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Woodridge, IL

Pay Range: Not disclosed

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Audit factory direct invoices for correct cost.
• Calculate freight in factory direct invoices.
• Research Sales Department inquiries on FD invoices and freight rates.
• Process FD invoices into the Accounts Payable System.
• Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years in Accounts Payable or related field.
• Computer literate with experience in writing business correspondence.
• Ability to problem-solve and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
