Position Overview
The Department of Health Sciences and Nursing at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Nursing for the fall and spring semesters beginning September 3, 2025. This position is to teach in the on-line RN to BSN program.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• MSN degree.
• Three (3) years of nursing practice.
• Two (2) years of demonstrated teaching experience.
• Unencumbered license, or eligible for licensure, as an RN in New Jersey
• Prospective candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching a variety of student populations and demonstrated expertise in their field of study.
• The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the use of student focused pedagogy in order to engage students in the learning process.
• Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated online teaching experience
• Terminal, professional degree completed, or in progress.
