Fairmount Homes is located on a beautiful 50+ acre campus in rural Ephrata, PA. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Personal Care who is compassionate, honest, and who will join with us in our mission to provide high quality services and to promote wholeness and creative living consistent with Christ-centered Mennonite values.
Assistant Director of Personal Care:
Day Shift: 32 hours/week
Pay rate: $33.16 - $35.85

Fairmount Homes, a respected Continuing Care Retirement Community grounded in Mennonite values, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Personal Care Director . This role supports the Personal Care Director in ensuring high-quality, resident-focused services in full compliance with Pennsylvania DHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities f or Assistant Director of Personal Care:
Support compliance with all state and federal regulations in our Personal Care Homes
Assist in recruiting, hiring, orienting, and evaluating team members
Help coordinate care and services that align with Fairmount’s mission and values
Collaborate with the Director and interdisciplinary teams on admissions, care planning, and family communications
Assist with audits, surveys, and development of improvement plans
Provide hands-on support, including covering shifts as a Med Tech or Resident Assistant as needed
Participate in strategic planning and team member training
Share on-call responsibilities
Qualifications for Assistant Director of Personal Care:
Current Personal Care Home Administrator Certification (required)
LPN license in PA (preferred) or current Med Tech certification
Prior leadership experience in Personal Care management/supervision
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and relate well to residents, families, and team members
Proficiency in Windows-based programs and Point Click Care (preferred)
Current CPR certification
Alignment with Fairmount’s mission and values, with an understanding and appreciation of the Mennonite Church, particularly the Weaverland Conference Old Order Mennonite tradition
