Job Description
Established insurance and municipal defense law firm with offices in Suffolk and Nassau seeks 2 Full Time Litigation Associates with 5 to 8 years experience. Attorney must be admitted to practice in New York State and have extensive experience handling depositions. Excellent writing skills required.
Position will involve handling a caseload of approximately 40 to 45 Premises Pl or property damage defense cases from the service of the Answer through the filing of the Note of Issue including conducting depositions, appearances remotely or in person in Nassau and Suffolk Supreme Courts, all boroughs of NYC ( except Richmond) on Court conferences, reporting to the insurance carrier / client, preparing appropriate motions. Salary commensurate with experience. Work from home flexibility available. 10 paid holidays and 4 weeks paid vacation per calendar year. Participation in 401K with employer match.
