Schedule: 5–6 days per week, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Baker to join our team at JC’s Hot Bagels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and baking our signature bagels and baked goods fresh each morning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and bake bagels and other bakery items according to established recipes and standards
• Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
• Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies; notify management of shortages
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Assist with opening the store and ensuring the bakery is ready for daily service
• Support the kitchen team with other prep tasks when needed

Requirements:

• Previous baking experience preferred (especially in bagels, bread, or pastries)
• Ability to work early mornings starting at 6:00 AM
• Available to work 5–6 days per week, including weekends
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player
