Job Description
Sales Support:
Focus will be on prospecting and identifying new customers who could benefit from using our vehicles instead of the diesel versions they currently use, qualifying them, then passing viable leads to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
Typical duties will include a significant amount of daily outreach to potential customers via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other means. You will also play a role in managing and vetting inbound leads that come from marketing campaigns, word of mouth, and other broader outreach efforts.
Marketing:
In close coordination with the Marketing team in the US, the associate will assist and work on tradeshow planning and execution, social media, content communications, advertising, digital and printed collateral. The marketing associate must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and keep in close communication with the Marketing Coordinator/Manager.
Core Responsibilities include the following:
Inside Sales:
· Contact potential customers via phone/email/chat to gauge interest and fit for our trucks.
· Be the initial point of contact for potential customers.
· Obtain pertinent information from potential customers in order to qualify needs.
· Utilize CRM to maintain a database of potential customers and document and update customer records based on interactions.
· Research potential customers using tools like ZoomInfo and others to create prospecting lists, manage outreach and schedule initial meetings.
· Attend initial handoff meeting with RSMs.
· Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving product and industry.
· Perform other sales support and business development duties as needed and as opportunities arise.
Marketing:
· Support tradeshow planning and execution – identifying requirements, developing schedules, tracking assignments, and helping to coordinate the marketing plan.
· Help create and manage content in social media, particularly in LinkedIn, to drive engagement and grow followers.
· Ability to write articles and work with outside content writers to review and edit content with a strong understanding of calls-to-action.
· Assist in developing, tracking, and implementing the company’s brand communications.
· Communicate campaign outcomes, and coordination to the sales and marketing teams, HubSpot experience preferred.
· Compile market research, ability to learn detailed forecasts, competitor analyses, and consumer trends.
· Support management with the development of basic CRM and contact management.
· Discover upcoming tradeshows and share recommendations based on the research of the events.
· Prepare various marketing activity reports for program success from Salesforce and Survey Monkey.
Required Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Marketing professional with qualifications that include:
· Must be able to proficiently communicate in both English and French
· Ability to deliver high standards of customer service and build rapport with clients.
· Positive and professional demeanor on the phone.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize and multitask.
· Diligent follow-up skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Office.
· Prior success in sales.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
• Prior experience in an inside sales & marketing environment is highly preferred.
The role will be based full-time in our Oakville, ON office (not a remote role) and must be able to travel within Canada and the USA.

Description de poste
Assistance commerciale :
L'accent sera mis sur la prospection et l'identification de nouveaux clients qui pourraient bénéficier de l'utilisation de nos véhicules au lieu des versions diesel qu'ils utilisent actuellement, en les qualifiant, puis en transmettant des pistes viables aux directeurs régionaux des ventes (DRV).
Les tâches typiques comprendront une quantité importante de contacts quotidiens avec des clients potentiels par téléphone, courriel, LinkedIn et d'autres moyens. Vous jouerez également un rôle dans la gestion et le contrôle des prospects entrants provenant de campagnes marketing, du bouche à oreille et d'autres efforts de sensibilisation plus larges.
Marketing :
En étroite coordination avec l'équipe marketing aux États-Unis, l'associé assistera et travaillera sur la planification et l'exécution des salons professionnels, les médias sociaux, les communications de contenu, la publicité, les supports numériques et imprimés. L'associé marketing doit être un multitâche organisé, capable de gérer simultanément de nombreux projets divers, de respecter des délais serrés et de rester en communication étroite avec le coordonnateur/Directeur marketing.
