Mastech Digital is an IT Staffing and Digital Transformation Services company.

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Business Consultant for our client in the IT Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 8+ Months Contract

Location: Pasadena, CA (Must be local to Southern CA)

Role: Business Consultant

Primary Skills: Business Analysis

Role Description: The Business Consultant must have 3-5+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. 3-5 or advanced degree/training in the field.
2. Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: Epic, healthcare, process improvement, data analysis and insights generation, PDSA cycles.
3. Top Three things you will be doing: Data analysis, insights generation, beautiful visuals that tell the story, communications, working with business owners to develop communication plans, performance improvement tracking and trending.
4. Top Three Skillsets needed: data science, analytics, process improvement, action plan development, tracking improvement.
5. Top Three things you will be doing: Project management, Data analytics and reporting for Emergency room while keeping leadership and stakeholders updated weekly.
6. Top Three Skillsets needed: Excel, PowerPoint, Data Analytics.
7. Must be familiar with hospital coding and billing practices.

Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: Partially remote with on-site meetings. Flexibility to be onsite twice a week as needed.

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
