Overview
Are you a Class A CDL driver living east of Interstate 35*? Join our team and seize great opportunities with consistent freight and low deadhead! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle to deliver goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety regulations.

Duties

• Operate your own truck to transport freight to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on your vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Utilize various types of trailers including Tanker and Refrigerated trailers as required by the load specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.

Experience

• At least 3 months of proven tractor-trailer experience from the last 5 years with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) class A.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and equipment.
• Must own a cab with a sleeper (no day-cabs).
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work under the Company's authority
