Position Overview:

We are currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our on-call team. This role is ideal for a medically trained professional who’s flexible, dependable, and passionate about post-op support. The ideal candidate is comfortable traveling to patients, supporting daily living needs, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment during recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, etc.)
• Provide bedside care and mobility support for post-op patients
• Prepare light, nutritious meals per dietary needs
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, and medication reminders
• Document patient observations and communicate with the clinical team
• Lift, reposition, and transfer patients as needed (must lift 75 lbs)
• Travel to patient homes, hotels, or care locations
• Maintain cleanliness and infection-control standards

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on medical experience (post-op or home care preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Meal prep experience and understanding of basic dietary needs
• Comfortable with lifting and supporting patients (75 lbs or more)
• Flexible, on-call availability (including weekends & evenings if needed)
• Strong communication, organization, and bedside manner
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus
