SUMMARY

HR Consulting Solutions, a leading executive search firm, has been retained by Easterseals West Kentucky to recruit a dynamic and mission-driven President/Chief Executive Officer for their Paducah, KY headquarters. Easterseals West Kentucky is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering individuals with special needs and disabilities through high-quality programs and services. Located in Paducah, Kentucky, Easterseals provides early childhood education, adult day health services, employment support, therapy, and other life-enriching resources to individuals and families across the region. The President/CEO will be responsible for leading the organization with vision and integrity, ensuring alignment with its mission, values, and long-standing commitment to the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
• Develop, implement, and oversee operational controls to ensure efficient day-to-day management of all organizational functions.
• Direct and develop all personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
• Establish, implement, and enforce quality control standards across all programs and services.
• Ensure the ethical, legal, and safe operation of the organization in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Commit and manage company resources in accordance with organizational policies, budgetary parameters, and by-laws.
• Ensure the financial viability of the organization by analyzing financial trends, forecasting, and monitoring operational effectiveness.
• Analyze and control expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
• Protect and manage the organization's physical and financial assets.
• Evaluate the results of operations regularly and systematically, reporting outcomes and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors.
• Maintain a strong partnership with the Board of Directors and carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Board.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in nonprofit management, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Prior executive or senior-level leadership experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, education, or human services environment.
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage a variety of complex projects and goals simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Demonstrated financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• U.S. citizenship and possession of a valid driver’s license required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
