Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and elevate our marketing, product, and sales functions. The CMO will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive go-to-market, demand generation, and brand growth strategy that amplifies brand equity, deepens market reach, and drives long-term profitability. This leader will oversee the integration of marketing, product positioning, partnerships, and sales to create a cohesive growth engine.

As a visionary marketing and revenue leader, you will be expected to develop and implement the vision for revenue generation through the implementation of innovative sales and marketing funnel strategies that will yield continued revenue growth. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, collaborating with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to expand market share, optimize customer lifetime value, and establish a legacy of operational and financial excellence.

Location: Remote with travel as needed.

What Youll Do:

  • Revenue Ownership: This is a unique opportunity to serve as our CRO, shaping and driving revenue growth across our technology product and service offerings including web hosting, cloud, and managed services.
  • Define & Execute Revenue Strategy: Led the design and refinement of a multi-channel revenue strategy for SMBs. Oversight of pricing, segmentation, partnerships, and maintaining the agility to adjust for market shifts and competitor dynamics.
  • Marketing & Product Leadership: Drive end-to-end marketing strategy to accelerate revenue growth. Proven ability to own and execute high-impact marketing initiatives that directly drive product success and measurable business results. Skilled at inspiring and aligning cross-functional teams through clear OKRs, while fostering innovation and marketing-led growth across channels.
  • AI-Driven Customer Acquisition: Deploy AI and automation to identify high-value SMBs , enhance quality of leads, customized outreach, accelerated sales cycles, and improve campaign ROI.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies that differentiate the company in the marketplace. Define positioning and messaging, establish channel and partner strategies. Oversee product launch execution ensuring seamless integration across sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Market Expansion & New Revenue Streams: Accelerate growth through geographic and vertical expansion, partnerships, and AI-enabled analytics to unlock upsell, cross-sell, and recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Proven track record of delivering measurable revenue growth by building and executing sales strategies that consistently exceed targets. Skilled in leading and mentoring sales teams to achieve optimal sales conversion rates, customer retention percentages, and fostering a high-performance, metrics-driven sales culture.
  • Operational & Financial Stewardship: Champion operational excellence by creating scalable processes for forecasting, pipeline management, and resource allocation. Establish and monitor KPIs such as ARR growth, CAC/LTV ratios, churn reduction, and contribution margins. Drive disciplined budget management to achieve profitability.
  • Customer Advocacy & Experience: Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure customer feedback informs product development and service delivery. Promote a customer-first mindset, ensuring retention, advocacy, and long-term partnerships are as prioritized as new acquisition.

  • Subscription Revenue & Marketing Leadership: Demonstrated success leading high-growth subscription businesses by shaping marketing strategies that drive sustainable acquisition, retention, and expansion. Skilled at aligning brand positioning, customer insights, and go-to-market execution to maximize recurring revenue and lifetime value. Proven ability to influence organizational strategy and deliver long-term, marketing-led growth at scale.
  • Integrated Growth Strategy: Track record of aligning product-led growth, demand generation, and sales-led strategies to maximize funnel efficiency and deliver exceptional ROI. Previous knowledge, skills and abilities that enable you to lead growth from $45M to $100M over the next 5-6 years.
  • AI-Driven Revenue Expansion: Experienced in leveraging AI-enabled tools and data insights to identify new revenue streams, accelerate customer acquisition, and optimize performance across sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
  • Operational and Strategic Discipline: Proven ability to establish and execute strategic objectives while instilling rigorous operational discipline. Adept at aligning cross-functional teams around shared goals, ensuring accountability, and scaling best-in-class processes.
  • Visionary Leadership: Skilled in setting mission and vision for teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence. Known for developing talent and inspiring teams to deliver both organizational impact and individual professional growth.

Compensation:

Annual salary starts at $220,000+. Performance-based compensation starts at $120,000 for OTE. Salary will be dependent on experience and skill set. Performance compensation is based on revenue lifts.
