About the Role

The Company is seeking a Campus Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to serve as a key executive physician leader, driving clinical excellence, and championing quality, safety, and a culture of engagement among physicians and advanced practice providers. The CMO will be responsible for cultivating a strong medical staff culture, leading quality and safety programs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires a physician with a clinical degree, board certification, and a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with a preference for those holding a Master's degree in a relevant field. The CMO will also be involved in change management, clinical informatics, and mission integration, and must have a proven track record in leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have a strong background in healthcare finance, government regulations, management theory, and be knowledgeable in areas such as healthcare law and medical credentialing. The ideal candidate will have a history of successful leadership, experience in guiding multi-disciplinary clinical program activities, and a commitment to the highest standards of medical ethics. Essential skills include the ability to lead and manage complex clinical enterprises, be visible and engaged at all levels of the organization, and be an innovative thinker. The CMO will also be responsible for physician and APP experience, including initiatives to enhance professional satisfaction and address well-being and burnout prevention.
