About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to lead its clinical team and ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services that meet state and national standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including assessing and diagnosing patients, managing budgets, and recruiting and training healthcare physicians. The Chief Medical Officer will also be tasked with setting professional performance standards, working with the CEO and COO to maintain the standard of care, and developing and communicating the company's vision for improving the health of the community. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of medical and administrative issues in a community health setting, as well as the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and advocate for individuals of all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a medical degree, a license to practice in North Carolina, and a background in family practice with significant leadership experience. Key skills for the position include strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals. The Chief Medical Officer will also be involved in patient care, community outreach, and the development of program initiatives to meet the healthcare needs of the target population.
