Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including laboratories and warehouses. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with industry standards and promoting a safe and efficient workspace. The Cleaning Technician will work closely with other team members to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness while adhering to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of laboratory and warehouse areas, including equipment, surfaces, and common spaces.
• Handle materials safely while following established protocols for cleaning and disposal.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools effectively, ensuring they are maintained in good working condition.
• Assist in the fabrication and packaging processes by maintaining a clean workspace conducive to production activities.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in cleaning processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role within a laboratory or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Experienced operating a forklift.
• Experience operating/ driving a 26ft Box truck
• Familiarity with materials handling practices and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of CGMP standards is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
