Communications and Management Consultant, Mid

As a Communications Professional with solid management consulting experience, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization's preferred reputation. We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports a fast-paced client in the Intelligence Community (IC).
In this role, you'll leverage both your organizational communications and management consulting skills and experience to develop creative solutions to complex problems, shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients, promote the client's initiatives and accomplishments across the IC, drive efficiencies and partnerships, and identify opportunities for growth.
As an advisor on all aspects of verbal and written communications for your group, you'll develop and author fact sheets, briefings, talking points, newsletter content, website content, and formal organizational responses with guidance from the client. Your creative thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your work informing key audiences to help your client achieve their business goals. In this role, you will use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as Tableau for data visualization, and Jira for project management.

You Have:
4+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with communications planning
Experience using a consulting approach to solve problems and bring solutions to fruition
Ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communications channels, vehicles, and audiences, while adjusting voice and information levels to suit audience needs
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with marketing, public relations, or management consulting, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with marketing, public relations, or management consulting
Nice If You Have:
Experience visualizing data and creating dashboards
Experience with project management
Ability to work independently with little supervision and with partners across an organization
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Communications, Business, Management, Architecture, or Engineering a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
