The Digital Modernization Sector brings together our digital transformation and IT programs, allowing us to better serve our customers through scale and repeatability.

The successful candidate will serve as a Network Engineer III in the AEGIS Wide Area Network Engineering Group.
Primary Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities will include design, engineering, configuration, testing and documentation of network architectures and configurations including routers, switches, network management tools and other information technology products in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol environment. In addition, the candidate will develop cost estimates and detailed designs for corporate network routed data and corporate custom routed data layer 3 services as well as dedicated voice and data services. Candidate must be capable of supporting project teams in design and implementation of enterprise WAN services and campus or institutional networks. Other duties will include participation in design reviews and requirements analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must have excellent oral and written skills and be able to present technical information in formal presentations to both internal and external customers. The candidate must have a concrete working knowledge of routed data protocols and hardware platforms. Candidate must have a working knowledge also of Juniper and Cisco routers and switches and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
CCNA and/or JNCIA highly desired.
