Content & Creative Assistant (Houston, Full-Time)

Location: Houston, TX (In-Person & some virtual)

Schedule: 30–40 hours/week

Compensation: Hourly

About the Role

We’re hiring a dynamic, content-obsessed, highly organized assistant to support a beauty founder and brand across both content creation and executive tasks. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who’s equally excited about filming and starring in TikToks as they are running point on logistics, research, and scheduling.

You’ll be a key creative partner—filming, editing, and posting content across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube Shorts—as well as a trusted assistant helping keep brand projects, calendars, and events on track. You must love being in front of the camera and know how to make content that works.

Content Responsibilities

• Create original content featuring yourself and the founder (you will be on camera often)
• Film and edit for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Threads
• Use CapCut and other TikTok-native tools with ease
• Stay ahead of trends, audios, and formats—and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Batch, plan, and organize content shoots weekly
• Pitch short-form content ideas based on brand voice and trends
• Assist with styling, lighting, shooting, and location scouting as needed

Executive & Creative Assistant Responsibilities

• Manage the founder’s calendar, travel bookings, and meetings
• Conduct research on vendors, influencers, events, and partnerships
• Handle outreach emails, DMs, brand follow-ups, and gifting coordination
• Keep files and workflows organized (Google Drive, Notion, Dropbox)
• Attend and support live events, shoots, and speaking engagements
• Help prep and manage content and product activations
• Occasionally assist with lifestyle errands or personal tasks

You Are

• Based in Houston and available for in-person work
• Comfortable and confident in front of the camera
• Skilled at editing short-form content, especially using CapCut
• Deeply familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Threads
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
• A creative thinker with strong execution and follow-through
• Bonus if you have experience in beauty, lifestyle, or influencer spaces
