Copywriter/Content Writer

Pacer Financial is an independent financial wholesaling firm that markets the Pacer exchange traded funds to financial advisors and registered investment advisors. We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary and $40 billion in assets under management (). We are counting on the person in this role to help us continue to grow! The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary copywriter/content writer and proofreader for the Marketing department.
• Writing and editing long-form and short-form content that is clear, concise, and compelling. Content may be used for white papers, sales presentations, websites, press releases, editorials, internal communications, graphics, and other marketing materials.
• Developing and maintaining an editorial calendar to reach our target audience in a consistent and timely manner.
• Working with internal and external resources, like senior management, sales, and portfolio management, to produce relevant content and simplify complex ideas.
• Researching industry topics and trends and staying informed on news and world events to identify potential opportunities, concerns, and interests for our market.
• Helping to ensure all marketing initiatives are compliant with FINRA/distributor rules.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years professional writing experience or comparable education, experience, and expertise
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Thorough knowledge of editorial style and publication guidelines.
• Creative and analytical with an interest in financial markets/financial planning and investments.
• Organized, detail-oriented and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Professional portfolio

Four Year College degree required.
