Job Summary
We are seeking a Cook to join the team at our busy daycare. In this position, you will be responsible for kid friendly foods to feed our young
children. You will be cooking for 30-50 kids. Hours will be 9:30 - 6:00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Washing kids tables in 3 different classrooms, high chairs, sweep and mop
• Preparing breakfast, lunch and pm snack
• Washing dishes, etc
• Keeping the kitchen clean - washing and cleaning toaster oven, microwave and all things in the kitchen

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
