Kforce is looking for a Data Stage/Azure Developer for a 3-6 month contract opportunity. Day to Day Responsibilities: Design/develop ETL Code, create unit test cases/data, perform unit testing and solves defects in a timely manner. Work with Data Analysts on physical model designs for star schemas Work with QA team to successfully complete testing. Plan, Manage and execute multiple development projects simultaneously. Solve production issues in reasonable time and drive to delivery Prepares Technical Design Document and other SDLC documents as needed. Provide technical direction and training to junior developers Maintain quality of data in the Data Warehouse. Required Skills : Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus 7 years of experience in Enterprise Data Ware Housing using any of variety of ETL tools 7 years of experience in SQL using any of variety of RDBMS databases. 3 years of experience in Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory ETL development in IBM DataStage/ Informatica. Experience dealing with Hierarchical data sources including JSON and XML. Azure Synapse experience Azure Data Factory experience Familiarity and experience with Big data development using Spark, Hive, Data Bricks Programming experience in scripting languages/Python. Working knowledge and experience with Azure environments Project management experience Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, OBIEE.
