Department Profile:

The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination, distribution, and trading of equity, equity-linked, and equity-derivative securities. We are looking for a qualified individual with a strong software and quantitative background to join our delta one strats team in Hong Kong.

What you will do:

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to scale and enhance our simulation platforms for optimal portfolio allocations, leveraging and creating new datasets focused on inventory and trading strategies, generating actionable insights that will drive strategic decision-making and business growth.

What we expect:

1. A motivated self-starter with a passion for applying technology in trading.
2. Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or other advanced quantitative fields.
3. 3–8 years of industry working experience.
4. Working experience in Unix/Linux.
5. High proficiency in Java is essential.
6. Experience in maintaining and working with large datasets.
7. Familiarity with q/KDB+, SQL, shell scripting, and Linux platform is a strong advantage.
8. Advanced knowledge in Statistics and Machine Learning.
9. Experience in working on mid/low frequency equity strategies would be a plus, but not mandatory.
