This role is for Fixed Income Division Credit Trading Operations.
The team provides operational coverage to the Fixed Income Credit derivative trading business, supporting Single Name, Index (CDX, CDX EM, iTraxx and MCDX) and Swaption products. Functionally the team performs trade economic reconciliation, internal and external trade compression, trade reporting, clearing and settlement for broker-dealer and client transactions. The team also supports key lifecycle events such as Credit event and Succession event processing, Option Exercise, trade unwinds, step-ins and novations. The key focus of the team is to support all processes as accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that all operational risks are identified and mitigated in line with key controls.
Expectations of the role include but are not limited to:
• Understanding operational processes and controls
• Ensuring all functions and procedures are performed in a timely and accurate manner
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the trade lifecycle, including trading, sales, technology, novations, confirmations and settlements to assist with the accurate and timely trade processing
• Timely escalation of potential risk issues to a supervisor/manager or officer in the group
Skills Required:
