Title: Senior Design Program Manager (UX/CX)

Company: Leading Global Technology and Media Corporation

Duration: 7 months

Location: Onsite, 5 days a week (Seattle, WA)

Pay Rate: $67-$77 per hour

About the Team:

This role is part of a multidisciplinary design group responsible for shaping customer experiences across a range of digital and hardware products, including smart home devices, streaming services, and mobile applications. The team focuses on crafting intuitive, high-quality user experiences that enhance usability and engagement.

The Senior Design Program Manager will oversee design programs within a specialized team dedicated to creating immersive, multisensory experiences. This team works to integrate sound, motion, touch, and other sensory elements to build more inclusive and emotionally engaging interactions between users and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of designers specializing in visual, motion, sound, and illustration to develop and implement a consistent design language across products and services.
  • Manage program planning, monitor progress, address issues, mitigate risks, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive change management efforts across design teams and partner organizations.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in UX design project/program management or design operations within a design-focused organization.
  • A combination of 3+ years in UX design and 3+ years in project management is also acceptable.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating across design, product, and technology teams.
  • Experience scaling and optimizing UX design programs in large, complex organizations.

Preferred Experience:

  • Managing design programs that establish design systems or design languages.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required).

Success Metrics:

  • Timely delivery of projects and key milestones.
  • Strong alignment with leadership principles, including delivering results and building trust.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance design excellence with operational efficiency while navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment.
