Position Summary This position serves to implement the goals and objectives of Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee through digital marketing, communications, and website management.
Formal Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or other related field.
Workplace Experience: Previous experience required; related experience desired including; social media, search engine optimization (SEO), website management, communications and writing/editing.
Equipment and Skills Training: Computer software experience: Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) (Google, Google Analytics, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) and WordPress required. InDesign, Canva, Sprout Social, and Drip experience preferred.
Physical Environment: General office environment, in addition to outside corporate and community event locations as deemed necessary by Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee's work plan.
Physical Effort: Ability to stand up to four hours at time, load and unload boxes for special events outside Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee. Must exhibit strong communication skills — both verbal and written.
Key Results: 1. Manages digital communication assets including: social media pages, website, email campaigns, digital ads, and reputation management.
2. Plans and executes social media solutions with the goal to create approval and content gathering efficiencies to successfully carry messages across all social media platforms. Includes monitoring of all social media platforms.
3. Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee's content or areas of improvement in web design.
4. Updates website and Calls to Action (CTA's) to improve user engagement. Optimizes website for mobile use.
5. Implement link building strategies and manage backlinks to build online authority.
6. Reports on performance metrics and works toward SEO goals.
7. Works with team and successfully distributes email campaign to current and prospective patients.
8. Manages reputation management system, reporting reviews to physicians and the leadership team for service recovery and process improvement.
9. Actively listens and uses appropriate communication styles to deliver information in an articulate, understanding and engaging way.
10. Prioritizes marketing needs and ensures marketing projects are delivered by deadlines.
11. Maintains cost-effective and budget parameters with regard to assigned projects.
12. Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with outside marketing and communications vendors.
