Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Executive leader to join our dynamic Accounting team as a Finance Director. S/He will also lead the financial strategy and all daily operations within the Accounting department.

Director of Finance

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel including financial planning and analysis budgeting forecasting and strategic financial decisionmaking. This role will work closely with the General Manager corporate and ownership to drive financial performance and ensure the alignment of financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial operations.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage the budgeting process including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor cash flow investments and financial planning.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Liaise with external auditors regulatory bodies and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance and Accounting with at least 5 years in a execuuutive leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
