Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the scheduling and dispatching of HVAC Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and a strong sense of time management. Reports to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to customer calls and requests for service.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians.
• Monitor routes, traffic, and weather conditions to optimize response times.
• Maintain communication with field staff and Service Manager to provide updates and support.
• Log all calls, movements, and incidents accurately in the system.
• Data entry and auditing of service tickets to prepare for invoicing.
• Coordinate emergency responses and prioritize tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Previous dispatch or logistics experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
