Primary Ob jectiv e of Marina Dock Attendant Position

The Marina Dock Attendant performs or assists with assigned duties necessary to maintain the cleanliness and repair of marina facilities to ensure customer satisfaction and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Keep docks clean and clear of debris.
• Collect dock carts.
• Repair shore power pedestals, including minor electrical work.
• Remove garbage from trash cans on docks.
• Assist boaters when docking.
• Pump out floats and boats when needed.
• Clean dock carts and dock boxes.
• Report and repair any safety or environmental hazards to supervisor.
• Clean marina restrooms, showers, laundry and entrance.
• Perform repairs to restrooms, docks, cleats, hose outlets, lighting and utilities.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

In addition to the above Major Areas of Accountability, other duties may be assigned as needed in order to ensure the Guest Service standards

Personal Requirements:

A successful candidate will be a person who is self-motivated, positive and good customer service skills. Able to work with minimum supervision, motivated and a self starter.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit/stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds. The employee may be sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level is usually moderate.
