Dave's Hot Chicken is looking for a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our growing team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and can lead by example - we want to meet you.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
- Handle customer concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and anticipate potential issues.
- Enforce Dave's Hot Chicken standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Supervise, train, and motivate Team Members during your shift.
- Support staffing, scheduling, and labor cost controls.
- Open and close the restaurant as needed.
- Travel to support new restaurant openings when necessary.
- Create a friendly, team-oriented work environment for both staff and customers.
- Maintain all food and cash control procedures.
- Be a leader in promoting company values like compassion, communication, and collaboration.
- Ensure 100% shift attendance and lead by example.
What You Bring (Skills & Requirements):
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid Food Handler's Permit.
- Completion of Dave's Hot Chicken Team Member and Shift Manager Training programs.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to train and manage teams.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be service-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Bilingual skills a plus!
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to perform basic math operations (cash handling).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in extreme temperatures.
