Salary: $25 - $38 per hour
A bit about us: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As an integral part of our team, the Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in our commercial and residential construction projects. Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
2. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
3. Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation.
4. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
5. Communicate any problems or observations to the construction project manager.
6. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
7. Review maintenance work orders and ensure work is completed in a timely manner to high standards.
8. Train apprentices and supervise them in different phases of electrical work.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and promote a culture of safety within the team.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an electrician with at least 3 years in the field. Journeyman electrician preferred.
2. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment.
3. Able to use electrical and hand tools effectively and safely.
4. Deep knowledge of electrical and construction safety protocols.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
6. Good physical condition and stamina to work in a variety of environments and conditions.
7. Demonstrated ability to read and understand complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
8. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
9. Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
11. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program with a valid electrician’s license.
