Scope of Position

At Mestek, we exclusively manufacture proprietary controls for use in our products--ensuring the highest standards of quality. As an Electronics Assembler, you will be a key part of the Electronics Manufacturing team, contributing to the assembly and testing of our custom-designed controls. This position involves all aspects of PCBA manufacturing, including surface mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering, equipment operation, inspection, testing, rework, and final electro-mechanical assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair embedded electronic controls


• Solder both through-hole and surface-mount components to IPC-A-610 standards


• Inspect solder joints for quality compliance with IPC-A-610


• Operate SMT manufacturing equipment and test fixtures


• Perform visual inspections and rework as needed to correct faults


• Download and install firmware onto programmable devices


• Conduct routine testing on sub-assemblies and finished products


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment


• Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required


• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing


• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 certification (current or past) highly preferred


• Skilled in microscope soldering of fine-pitch surface mount components


• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity


• Proficient with Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office Suite


• Effective verbal and written communication skills
