Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. As a Systems Engineer for the Tactical Control System program, you’ll be a member of an agile cross functional team responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced submarine systems in support of the United States Navy and the Royal Australian Navy fleets. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experience: Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and the engineering process Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle more complex assignments as experience progresses Ability to clearly convey concepts and ideas using written and verbal communications skills Ability to clearly recognize and report information relevant to sound systems engineering design What sets you apart: Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering practices (SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, etc.) in support of modeling, analysis, and visualization of system design Experience with Agile methodologies Experience drafting system requirements in accordance with good requirement practice Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment, and professionally executes projects with assistance from experienced systems engineers. Ability to conduct research on technical implementation and challenges, and utilize information gathered to develop solutions and design for complex assignments. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $83,721.00 - USD $92,878.00 /Yr.
