Job Description

Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer in the New York City area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering , Environmental Science , or a related field, along with experience managing environmental compliance and project management in a manufacturing environment. If selected, candidates must provide digital proof of certifications and qualifications before the interview. Information provided will be handled confidentially and used solely for employment purposes, including client background checks. This position is full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York Metropolitan area. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead environmental project activities, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans. Develop compliance strategies to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and hazardous waste management requirements. Conduct environmental risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks associated with plant operations. Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air, land, and water pollution. Develop project designs, prepare budgets, and oversee the execution of environmental initiatives. Research and evaluate new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance plant operations and efficiency. Coordinate and manage facility energy usage through measurement, monitoring, and improvement projects. Prepare detailed environmental and engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Create CAD drawings to support project designs and documentation. Qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following: Bachelor’ s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing environmental compliance, project management, and maintenance support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Creative Suite, e-Builder, and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency in CAD drafting software (AutoCAD or similar) is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required. Armand Corporation
