Hours: 2x4 hours per week, with potential to add more hours

Summary

As a Spa Esthetician at DermaSmooth Clinic, you will provide exceptional skin care and spa treatments with professionalism, a personalized approach, and over-the-top hospitality to our guests. Your role contributes to the company’s goals, objectives, vision, and values as an active team member.

Essential Functions

• Provide spa services including skin care consultations, HydraFacials, facials, peels, and more.
• Assist with guest inquiries and requests for services.
• Maintain a balanced retail sales-to-service ratio with exceptional products.
• Strive to meet an agreed minimum upsell percentage.
• Stay organized to meet sales goals and communicate with salon management.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and ensure their comfort.
• Handle basic salon housekeeping duties and record-keeping tasks.
• Participate in all training sessions.
• Continuously improve and expand your knowledge of services and industry trends.
• Maintain attendance and meet salon dress code.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation procedures in treatment rooms.
• Perform monthly and quarterly deep-clean responsibilities.
• Support daily operations, teamwork, and spa success.
• Assist management with operational activities as needed.
• Provide feedback and ideas for improvement of services and products.
• Attend pre/post-shift meetings.
• Ensure compliance with State Board regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• 2+ years of esthetician experience in a stand-alone or hotel spa preferred. Less experience is acceptable with advanced training.
• Valid California State Esthetician License (DCA).
• Knowledge of cosmetic/botanical ingredients.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, stand, and move for up to 6 hours per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch.
• Requires manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions, listen, and hear clearly.
