About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Organizational Development to serve as a strategic partner to the President. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving institutional excellence through the design and implementation of comprehensive programs that enhance employee capabilities, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and align with the college's mission and strategic goals. This role involves spearheading professional development and leadership programs, overseeing employee recognition initiatives, and leading special projects that are critical to the President's vision. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in shaping the college's future by promoting employee engagement and translating strategic priorities into actionable plans that ultimately drive student achievement and institutional success. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of five years administrative experience in higher education, and a proven track record of accountability and follow-through. The role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work as an effective team member, and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive organizational culture. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for transforming lives and a strong technical proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office. A doctorate and additional experience in community college administration are preferred. The Executive Director will be expected to remain current with trends in organizational development and higher education and to champion the use of technology to enhance organizational effectiveness.
