Job Title: Automotive Title Clerk
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle title transactions, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vehicle title applications and transfers accurately and efficiently
- Verify and maintain accurate records of vehicle titles and registrations
- Communicate with customers, dealerships, and state agencies regarding title issues
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to vehicle titles
- Assist in resolving title discrepancies and issues as they arise
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for all title-related documents
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle title laws and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software related to title processing
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
