Lucas Tree Experts , a leader in the tree care industry, is looking for a experienced individual to join the team as a Field Safety Trainer in New Hampshire & Vermont. The ideal candidate will be a skilled arborist and climber with a highly motivated, safety first mindset and current Arborist License, Pesticide License, ISA Certification, CTSP Certification, and Commercial Drivers License in good standing . Must be well organized with strong time-management skills, strong verbal communication skills, able to work well with others in a training environment, able to teach skills and concepts to others effectively, and willing to travel.

Previous experience in the tree care industry, specifically Utility Line Clearance, which includes but is not limited to bucket trimming, climbing, and tree removal techniques is required. Experience with trimming, advanced climbing, rigging, and off road equipment such as skidders, aerial lifts, jarraffs and mowers is a must. Spanish language skills a plus but not required.

This is a full time, year-round, outdoor, physical labor and training opportunity. Duties: Travel to required work locations with occasional overnights. Hands on demonstration and training both in the field and virtually via Microsoft Teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be punctual and reliable
Must be comfortable working outdoors and able to work independently
Must be able to travel as the position requires, including overnights and extended stays.
Must be able to accept responsibility as well as follow written and verbal orders
Must be 18 years old with High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license that is in good standing as defined by Lucas Tree Experts (Commercial Drivers License preferred)
Must be able to obtain and maintain licenses & certifications such as CTSP (Certified Tree Care Safety Professional), First Aid, Arborist, Pesticide and Commercial Drivers license
Must have experience with bucket trimming and climbing
Must have good computer and presentation skills
Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather and environmental conditions

Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position (i.e., walk on uneven grounds, carry 75 lbs.)

Must be able to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen as well as a background and motor vehicle check
