HOLT Truck Centers has a great opportunity for a Finance internship. This part-time internship will assist the Finance department in supporting our accounts receivable and collections team.

Education and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Essential Functions:

• Provides administrative support for the financial department
• Assists Accounting with account reconciliations, document support, and preparing journal entries
• Assists Accounts Payable with purchase order cleanup, document support, and data entry
• Assists with cash applications and document support
• Assists Financial Marketing with document support and assists with lower-level financial applications
• Assists Business Systems with system file cleanup, report writing, troubleshooting user issues, and various project assistance
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); ability to produce information in spreadsheets, documents, forms, tables, and presentations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional skills in customer service
• Strong organization skills, detailed-oriented, and ability to work on multiple projects
• Basic math and algebra skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and customers (internal and external)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
