Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Firmware Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the software development team supporting in-market devices, primarily Surface devices and accessories. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Firmware Engineer 

Location: Redmond, WA - Onsite 

Pay Range: $65.04 - $70.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits and PTOs)

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement firmware solutions for surface devices and accessories
• Investigate bugs and troubleshoot firmware issues in existing systems
• Gather and analyze system requirements, documenting specifications for firmware projects
• Create detailed test plans and perform unit testing to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve firmware performance and reliability

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 8-10 years of experience in firmware or software development
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience with large systems software design and troubleshooting legacy and new systems
• Ability to communicate prior experience effectively and work well in team environments
