Our client, a leader in consumer electronics and innovative hardware solutions, is seeking a Firmware Engineer to join their team. As a Firmware Engineer , you will be part of the Embedded Systems Development supporting the firmware and hardware integration teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Firmware Engineer

Location: Onsite - Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $69.99 - $76.99

What's the Job?

• Design, bring up, and implement real-time embedded audio system features for Qualcomm-based headsets.
• Develop and optimize production firmware publishing pipelines.
• Create test strategies and plans to ensure consistent quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues.
• Contribute to the development of next-generation hardware products for retail markets.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Experience with Qualcomm firmware / toolchain
2. Experience with coding in C/C++
3. Experience with developing embedded systems using Qualcomm compilers and tooling

What's Needed?

• Minimum 10 years experience with Qualcomm firmware and toolchain development.
• Extensive coding experience in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Proven expertise in developing embedded systems using Qualcomm compilers and debugging tools.
• Experience with USB, BR/EDR, and BLE wireless communication protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
