Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes adhere to industry standards, including FDA regulations and food safety protocols. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and sanitation, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery used in food production and processing, ensuring compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Assist in packaging finished products while ensuring quality control measures are met.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records of production activities.
• Safely operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the facility, following all safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and general food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is an asset.
• Experience with sanitation procedures in a food industry setting is beneficial.
• Basic math skills are necessary for effective measurement and record keeping.
• A valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided.
