**Job Overview:**

This is an exciting new role with an industry-leading food company which manufactures and supplies their product range globally.

We are now seeking to hire a talented QA with extensive Food safety management, product specifications, regulatory and GMP experience to lead their QA function.

**Responsibilities:**

• Ensuring compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards
• Overseeing and implementing HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), GMP, and other food safety and quality programs for the plant.
• Providing oversight for the development of robust manufacturing control processes and related reports used throughout the plant.
• Managing customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking.
• Performing gap analysis on all Food Safety and Quality processes and procedures.
• Training, mentoring, and supervising QA Management at various locations.
• Managing the hold and release program
• Establishing finished goods quality standards, monitor down-graded product and work with manufacturing to reduce them to appropriate levels.
• You will work closely with R&D, Operations and Logistics to maintain the highest levels of product safety and quality across the manufacturing and supply chain process.

**Requirements:**

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Proven work experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Certification in HACCP
• Minimum 1+ years experience as a QA in the food manufacturing sector.
• Must have experiences with CFIA, SQF, BRCGS, IFS and BRC quality programs.
• Clean drivers abstract and valid passport required.
