Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves working in the CNC department, operating machines, and handling various production tasks. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools and power drills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in the CNC department.
• Utilize hand tools and drills efficiently.
• Use a nail gun for assembly tasks.
• Perform medium to heavy lifting as required.
• Operate hand power tools for various tasks.
• Assemble and palletize shipments.
• Pull, pack, and load products for shipment.
• Work independently as well as in a team.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of machine operator experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using a tape measure.
• Proficiency in using a power drill.
• Ability to lift 20lbs to 40lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented individual.

Work Environment

Our warehouse environment includes manufacturing, shipping/receiving, assembly, and testing areas. The facility is clean and large, though it is not temperature controlled, being cooler in the winter and hotter in the summer. The dress code is casual, with jeans and a t-shirt, along with provided safety glasses and hearing protection. Steel-toed boots are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
