Project: Global Corporate Investment Banking Audit Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Compensation: $110 - $115 per hour (depending on skills, experience, and location)
About the Role
We are looking for a Global Corporate Investment Banking Audit Manager to support a high-profile client in ensuring successful audits for 2024. If you are an experienced professional in audit and credit risk with a passion for collaboration and delivering high-quality results, this could be a great fit for you.
As a Project Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the corporate audit team with the necessary resources and skills. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional audit work, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing the resources needed to conduct audits for 2024, ensuring a skilled team is in place.
- Participate in daily calls led by Corporate Audit and other business lines to facilitate audit testing and process walkthroughs.
- Provide expert guidance on test plans, assess and challenge the control environment, and assist in drafting audit opinions.
- Document audit testing, discussions, and rationale supporting the audit opinion.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to produce high-quality work papers that clearly substantiate audit opinions.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial and large corporate banking.
- Experience with credit risk management, particularly related to commercial and corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of the credit application process and key considerations.
- Proficient in audit methodologies and execution, with a demonstrated ability to hold meaningful discussions with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of leasing products, credit risk underwriting, and monitoring processes.
- Experience in auditing credit risk and understanding key portfolio monitoring processes.
- Exposure to leveraged finance and syndication risk is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree required.
