Pay range: $165,000.00

YOUR ROLE

In this role you will establish and implement the development strategy for Sport events industry across the US. In fulfilling this role, the individual is expected to generate annual gross revenue exceeding 5M USD (in addition of spot revenue generated by major events).

You will identify and secure new business opportunities to grow revenue and profit for the US operation. You will also implement the agreed operating business plan within budget, while managing people effectively to enhance service, productivity, financial outcomes, employee satisfaction, and client results.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Formulate and implement tactical and strategic approaches to achieve business objectives and drive growth
  • Oversee the profit and loss (P&L) of our business unit and ensure the successful delivery of our business plan, formulating both tactical and strategic approaches to achieve our goals
  • Develop and maintain strong local partnerships with agents and suppliers to enhance service delivery, leverage local knowledge, and expand market reach. Establish and maintain a network with local industry associations to stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and opportunities for collaboration
  • Leverage the CEVA network to establish CEVAs global presence and communicate its worldwide offices to the event logistics industry through international expansion
  • Adopt a pro?active approach to cost control. Design, implement, and monitor the contract budget and take timely corrective action to ensure adherence. Maintain strong financial knowledge to meet and exceed budget goals, manage debt and enhance cost savings and working capital
  • Facilitate the global negotiation of commercial terms presented to customers, ensuring compliance with company procedures for commercial approvals. Develop and deliver business proposals to potential and current organizers with the goal of securing new contracts and increasing the conversion rate of new wins
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues in other departments (e.g. IT, HR) to identify and recommend suitable solutions that improve proposals
  • Provide high quality and reliable operational solutions to customers, leveraging the collaboration of direct reports, peers and junior associates
  • Work closely with our Financial and Legal teams to ensure full compliance with all CEVA policies


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Strong experience working in a sales environment within the logistics supply chain for events and/or sports industry
  • Experience interacting vertically within an organization
  • Experience in writing business proposals
  • Experience and capability to formulate strategy internally and externally with clients
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations
  • Experience of producing, managing and planning budgets
  • Demonstrable experience of building and developing client relationship
  • Logistics / Supply chain knowledge
  • Excellent time management and good organizational skills
  • Strong data interpretation skills, presentation skills, and PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team Player and Proactive approach
