TITLE: Dispatcher
PAY RATE: $18 - $22 per hour
LOCATION: 35 West 35th Street New York, NY 10001
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
SCHEDULE:
8, 10 & 12 hours shifts, Monday - Sunday
Weekend availability is required
BENEFITS: Sign-on Bonuses for Full-Time new hires of up to $3,000.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2-3 year's experience in transportation dispatch. EMS Dispatch Preferred.
Geographical knowledge of service areas.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize each task accordingly.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to type 40/45 wpm's and experience with data entry.
Ability to work within a team setting as well as work independently.
Tech-savvy with knowledge of computer aided dispatch software (CAD).
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) or Certified First Responders (CFR) with 2 years of experience and/or 1 year of EMS dispatch experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive large volume intake calls, prioritize and dispatch calls in CAD System.
Determine appropriate level of care and coordinate transport calls and activities with EMTs in the field.
Be courteous and friendly to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff, providing top tier customer service.
Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
