Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Secondary Business Teacher to join our dynamic team for the
2025-2026 school year ! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business education and demonstrate a passion for media production and/or computer programming. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through real-world applications, creative projects, and technology-driven instruction. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Business Education Certificate for Grades 9-12.
Key Responsibilities: - Teach high school business courses that may include Media and TV Production, Computer Programing, and Personal Finance
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate elements of digital media and/or computer programming.
- Integrate current technology tools and platforms into instruction to enhance learning.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages student collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students for postsecondary education and/or careers in business, media, or technology.
- Participate in curriculum development, school committees, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
