Responsibilities: Pursues the development of new clients and business opportunities within the vertical markets and geographic regions directed by Sales Management. In collaboration with Sales, Administrative, and Field Operations Management, handles estimating work, writing proposals, managing vendors, managing contracts, and overseeing the general prosecution of work orders and service agreements. Generates leads for larger retrofit or modernization projects, working in conjunction with Sales Management and colleague Project Managers (PM). Depending on experience and skills, the AM may handle most or all the larger project duties in lieu of handing over the project to a PM. Analyzes the scope, complexity, schedule, and general resource requirements of potential sales opportunities to ensure alignment with the Company’s capabilities and business plans. Schedules and conducts customer visits with new and existing customers. Regularly participates in job walks, building surveys, and client and/or job site visits. Builds strong relationships both internally with customers and externally across the organization. Utilizes, enters and maintains customer activity in the Company’s CRM systems Participates in contract and work-in-progress (WIP) review meetings. Represents the Company at designated industry and social events. Collaborates with Service Administrative and Field Operations through the life cycle of the contract. This includes new customer profiling and setup, coordinating billing production and quality reviews and driving timely invoice collection. Requirements: 5 years experience working in facility services or specialty MEP contracting, specifically with design, sales, or project management experience. BS in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management preferred but not required. MBA or Masters level degree and/or a current licensed PE are notable strong plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and task management skills to respond successfully to a high volume of issues.
