About the Family:This Vestavia-based family is looking for a fun, engaging summer nanny to care for their two active children—a 6-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. They’re hoping to find someone who can keep their kids safe, entertained, and on a smooth summer routine while school’s out. The parents are organized and easy to work with and are committed to making this a great experience for both their children and their nanny. Responsibilities: Provide full-day care during designated summer weeks Plan age-appropriate activities, indoor and outdoor play Prepare simple lunches and snacks Ensure a safe and engaging environment Support light routines such as reading or quiet time Qualifications: Previous experience with school-aged children High energy and creativity for summer play Punctuality and strong communication skills Reliable transportation Ability to commit to full duration of the position Additional Information: Start Date: June 2 End Date: July 18 $20/hour Position is Monday–Friday only Schedule varies slightly the first week; rest are 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
