Independent Contractor Courier – Dash Courier Service Join to apply for the Independent Contractor Courier role at Dash Courier Service Dash Courier & Logistics supports major medical facilities and other industries with same‑day, on‑demand deliveries—often time‑sensitive and mission‑critical. You\'ll run local on‑demand jobs during your assigned coverage block and may also handle occasional scheduled or routed work when customers request it. Yellow Shirt Concept "Yellow shirt" drivers commit to being continuously available during a defined daily block to ensure rapid response for on‑demand work. During that block, you\'ll remain within service range, monitor the app/phone, and be ready to dispatch immediately when offers are brokered to you. Core Responsibilities Stay available and responsive throughout your assigned coverage block; accept and complete on‑demand deliveries according to shipper instructions. Follow all client‑specific protocols and chain‑of‑custody requirements; maintain professional communication and appearance. Safely operate your own late‑model car, SUV, or minivan; use smartphone‑based GPS for routing and updates. Represent Dash Courier & Logistics with punctuality, accuracy, and exceptional service on every stop. Compensation & Schedule Coverage Block: Monday–Friday, 08:00am–05:00pm (local time). Guaranteed Daily Rate: $125 per day for completing delivery services during the covered block. Contractors retain the right to reject offers; however, declining jobs may reduce the daily amount due from the $125 offer to reflect the cost of completing the rejected work and related expenses. Opportunities to earn additional compensation outside the specified hours may be available by mutual agreement. Note: Dash operates 24/7/365 , but the Yellow Shirt role is designed to ensure daytime coverage; other work may be available based on market needs. What You Need To Bring Valid Driver\'s License and SSN or proof of citizenship. Current vehicle registration for the vehicle you will drive. Auto insurance with minimum liability limits of $100k/$300k/$50k per accident (proof via insurance declaration page). Newer smartphone with GPS capability. Clean MVR and ability to pass a third‑party background check. Age 21+ and a late‑model car/SUV/minivan suitable for courier work. Prior courier, healthcare logistics, or related experience is preferred. Independent‑Contractor Status This is a 1099 Independent Contractor engagement. As a contractor, you are not an employee of Dash Courier; you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, benefits, and operating expenses (fuel, tolls, device, maintenance, etc.).
